Context engineering

An applied AI scientist interview on a live context window: the prompt, the retrieved passage, and what got dropped or cached.

These prompts are original practice. They are not questions from a named employer or a live hiring loop.

  1. 1.A night adjuster opened the saved prompt for claims file 4418. It once began "Do not waive the inspection," but that order had aged off the front. The kept text started "roof tarped on 3 March, photo 12." What inspection order could the model see?

  4. 4.Pharmacy search was rebuilt onto new dose vectors, but the index it queried was still Monday's. Monday's index returned "ibuprofen 200 mg, two tablets." Tuesday's row says "400 mg, one tablet" and was not the hit. What dose line was in the window?
